The Friends of Horseshoe Bend Park held it 5 annual benefit ride on October 28, 2017 with over 70 riders and horses. The all day event offered three courses, a 4 mile, 8 mile (which was closer to 9 miles) and a 12 mile ride.  (Double click on any of the pictures to see full screen view)

Riders reported that, " it was so perfect that it spoiled me for other rides".  The near perfect weather, well groomed trails, fantastic signage, and course diversity were all aspects that riders commented on.

The Friends of Horseshoe Bend Park raise funds to support the ongoing maintenance of the park and to expand the ability of members to travel on private property otherwise unavailable to the public.10292017_103549_11.jpg  The park terrain varies from flat fields to rolling forests to stream corridors.
